The Edmonton International Fringe Festival is North America's largest live theatre event. It attracts 500,000 visitors to over 1,000 live theatre experiences each year.
Edmonton Research Park
The Research Centre One building has flexible lab and production space for second-stage companies. The makers of Cold-FX were housed in Research Centre One until their operations became so successful, they built their own building in the Park under the Biotech Lease Program.
Edmonton's Quality of Life
Edmonton Transit System (ETS) covers more than 170 routes, including a Light Rail Transit system. On a typical day, ETS carries 16 per cent of Edmonton's population. ETS also operates Park 'n Ride services for special events, including football games, and major concerts.
