News media are invited to attend the 11th Annual General Meeting of the Edmonton Capital Region Tourism Partnership (ECRTP), which will focus on the big picture of the current economic situation and how sustainable tourism initiatives will help position Edmonton as a destination of choice.

This year’s AGM Keynote Speaker is the Honourable Cindy Ady, Alberta Minister of Tourism, Parks and Recreation. Quincy Smith, the new Chair of Travel Alberta Corporation will also speak about how the new Travel Alberta structure will impact Edmonton Tourism Industry Partners. Finally, Edmonton Economic Development Corporation Vice-President of Economic and Tourism Development Ken Fiske will address the state of the economy on Edmonton Tourism and the demand for sustainable industry initiatives.
