    Consumer Price Index
The Consumer Price Index has yet to be released for this period.

    Housing
Housing prices overall were up more than 3% over the same period last year. Despite mortgage rate increases throughout the last few months, rates are not out of reach of most home buyers. For those looking to list and sell: there were almost 3,400 listings in Edmonton, up more than 9% from last year. There were almost 1,600 homes sold, down more than 39% from June 2009.

    Building Permits
Building Permit data has yet to be released for this period.

    Airport Passenger Traffic
Airport passenger stats are up slightly, 3.8%, from last year. A total of almost 500,000 for the month of June. Although numbers were down overall, transboarder, or US travelers, were at record numbers for both the months of March and April. As expected International visitor numbers will decrease for the summer months, but domestic numbers are expected to increase. Growth of passengers in the coming months will be key to seeing a rebound in the travel market in Edmonton after a rough year in 2009.
