Tourism Industry Partners: One Voice for Tourism

Each year, Greater Edmonton attracts millions of visitors from nearby and around the world. They’ve been persuaded to choose this destination for tourism, meetings, major events, or to work on motion pictures. To achieve increases in our number of visitors, our collective message needs to be coordinated and harmonious. The Capital Region Tourism Partnership provides "One Voice for Tourism" for the entire region.

"This partnership has been a key and pivotal relationship that has provided our property, the Union Bank Inn, Edmonton's Premier 4 1/2 Star Boutique Hotel, considerable awareness. Since our inception 11 years ago, we've truly enjoyed a growing relationship with Edmonton Tourism that has become quite significant in our overall success and continued growth."
Shelley Carrier, Director of Operations, Union Bank Inn

"From my very first meeting with the team at Edmonton Tourism, I was infected with an energy and passion for Edmonton as a destination that makes me incredibly proud to call the city my home and promote it as the world-class destination it is. The team at Edmonton Tourism are consummate professionals, industry leaders and ambassadors for our city. I am honoured and proud to work with every one of them."
Dave Mitchell, Director of  Revenues & Quality Assurance, Fantasyland Hotel

West Edmonton Mall

"For something entirely different, a trek to Edmonton is definitely in order. The West Edmonton Mall, known as the largest indoor mall in the world, is an over-the-top experience that draws more visitors to Alberta than any other attraction in the province. The surreal shopping, eating, and entertainment arena is shoulder-to-shoulder with customers during the winter chill. Not only is it an architectural marvel with its domed curved glass ceiling, the larger-than-life complex boasts its own waterpark, amusement park, bungee tower, daily sea lion show, as well as mall hotel called the Fantasyland Hotel".
