Accessibility

Wheelchair-accessible washrooms are available on every floor of the Shaw Conference Centre and a wheelchair-accessible incline elevator serves every floor.

There are three DATS (Disabled Adult Transportation System) drop points at the Shaw Conference Centre:

Main entrance on Jasper Avenue
Truck ramp on the Assembly Level
Outside Salon 12 on the Meeting Room Level off Grierson Hill Road

Location

The Shaw Conference Centre is location in the heart of Edmonton’s downtown at 9797 Jasper Avenue.

Parking

Underground parking is available at the Canada Place building, connected to the SCC by underground pedways. Paid parking lots are also available on Jasper Avenue in front of the Courtyard by Marriott at 99 Street and on Grierson Hill nearby the Shaw Conference Centre. Metered parking is available on streets throughout the downtown area.

Nearby

You can walk out of the SCC straight into the vibrant downtown of Alberta’s capital city. Major hotels, fine restaurants, theatres, and Edmonton’s central shopping district are all nearby. Many are directly connected by indoor pedways.
